Introduction
The SocketScan S370, is a data capture platform that supports 1D and 2D barcode scanning as well as NFC Reading and Writing, designed to facilitate mobile wallet applications via on screen scanning or tap-and-go NFC Reading. It combines the latest 13.56 MHz Near Field Communication (NFC) contactless technology with barcode scanning and Bluetooth LE connectivity.
The SocketScan S370 Universal NFC & QR Code Mobile Wallet Reader is portable, fits most anywhere, can run on battery or plugged into power, and can read almost any credential. Continuously and easily scans popular 1D and 2D barcodes from paper, label, and screen, like QR Code, PDF417 and Data Matrix. For the NFC/RFID world, the S370 also supports all NFC Forum tag types and devices compliant with the ISO 18092 standard, in addition to ISO 14443 Type A and B smart cards, ISO 15693 tags, MIFAREŽ, FeliCaŽ, NPX, and STMicro tags. It complies with both Apple and Google NFC protocol on iPhone and Android devices.
